Concerning the second of these, the cancelling of Terese Nielsen, one of MTGs earliest artists, relatively speaking and the artist behind Jilt, an image so striking and with such complimentary flavor text that, full disclosure, it sent my imagination wandering as a kid and ever since has captured to me the particular possibilities of emergent narrative in the TCG form, such that still I consider it to be my favorite MTG card of all time for reasons including following alt-right provocateurs/demagogues/hucksters on Twitter and, from what I can make sense out of three years after the fact (whence plenty of said Tweets have been deleted), liking tweets re: TERF and anti-Zionist ideas hardly the stuff of ideological consensus among the sociopolitics of elites or the masses, I would think, such that you cant even categorize MTGs self-correcting as woke nor anti-woke, leftist nor rightist, progressive nor conservative, and so it largely seems to fall under the SJW virtue-signalling that has gripped the hobby industry over the past decade or so, a matter of business sense in which the decision to posture as inclusive via representation-for-representations-sake is now capitalistically-rational in an increasingly diverse U.S.A
